APPLE POLA/CAKE

APPLE POLA/CAKE  It is a kind flourless cake but its taste and texture almost resembles pudding. It can be eaten warm or at room temperature. It is very important to set the heat to minimum as the cake gets burnt quickly. The recipe is very simple.

APPLE POLA/CAKE

INGREDIENTS :

Apple - 1

Egg - 2

Suger - 2 tbsp

Milk powder - 2 tbsp

All purpose Flour - 1 tbsp

Vanila essence - 1/2 tsp 

Butter - 1tbsp (unsalted)


STEP 1

Peel and cut the apple into small pieces. Blend it with egg and suger. Once it blends well add milk powder, all purpose flour and vanila essence. Blend it well to make a smooth batter. 

STEP 2

Take a non-stick deep saucepan, grease it well using butter. Pour the batter in the pan, cover it tightly with a lid and cook for about 20-25 minutes. Keep it in a low flame and cook until the top part looks set, and a skewer comes out clean. 

STEP 3

Let the cake/pola cool for 10 minutes in the pan, before flipping it over to another plate. This can be served hot or warm. It should be eaten on the day it’s made and could be refrigerated for the next day use.
