HIDE&SEEK BISCUIT SHORTCAKE TRIFLES - chocolate shortcake layered with hide&seek biscuit and whipped cream, and served in individual cups for a fun party or after dinner treat.
In these mini dessert cups, you get a sweet chocolate cake alternating with layers of fluffy whipped cream and hide&seek biscuit.

INGREDIENTS
For the shortcake layer
All-purpose flour(maida) - 2 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Unsalted butter - 1/2cup (120g)
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
milk - 1 cup
Eggs - 2
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Cocoa powder - 4 tbsp
PREPARATION
∆ In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the dry ingredients ( All purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and suger). Mix well about 30 seconds.
∆ Once it's fully mixed, Slowly add the milk, and the vanilla extract.
∆ Then add butter, cut into small cubes, a few cubes at a time, and mix until the batter appears smooth texture.
∆ Next, add the eggs and cocoa powder, and mix until combined.
∆ Pour and spread batter evenly into prepared baking pan. Bake in preheated oven until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, about 20 - 24 minutes.
∆ Allow to cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, remove from pan, and cool completely.
For the hide&seek layer
Hide&seek biscuit - 1 pack (Slightly cut into small pieces)
Unsalted Butter - 3 tbsp
Cashews - 1/3 cup
PREPARATION
∆ Heat a pan, add butter, biscuits(cut into small pieces) and cashews. Heat for a while.
for the whipped cream layer
whipping cream - 1 cup
fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
PREPARATION
∆ Start by beating the whipped cream and fresh cream with a whisk attachment.
∆ Then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beat well.
∆ Continue to beat until stiff peaks.
To assemble trifles:
∆ Cut cooled cake into rounds that will fit into your dessert cups.
∆ Transfer cream mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip and pipe cream mixture over cake layer.
∆ Assemble trifles by layering Cream, cake
and hide&seek biscuit, two times each.
∆ Garnish each with a biscuit mixture. Serve within an hour for best results (the cake can be made a day in advance and covered, just wait to prepare the cream mixture and biscuits until almost ready to serve).
