SNICKERS PUDDING

Snickers Pudding is super quick and easy to make.

Snickers are my favorite candy bar. It’s been my favorite candy bar for as long as I can remember.

This snickers pudding recipe uses quite a few ingredients.

Snickers pudding is a layered dessert with biscuit base, creamy layer made with cream cheese, milkmaid, fresh cream and whipping cream powder,  topped with a snickers chocolate glaze.

INGREDIENTS

For the crust:

Mariegold biscuits - 20 pieces 

(Here, I take up the Mariegold Biscuit. You can take anything  like Oreo, chocolate or digestive biscuits).

Butter (unsalted) -  5 tbsp

PREPARATION

STEP 1

Grind mariegold biscuit for the crust and combine them with melted butter.

STEP 2

To make the crust, in a medium size mixing bowl add mariegold biscuit crumbs and pour melted butter over top and stir until a soft wet mixture forms.

STEP 3

Firmly press into the bottom of a pudding tray. Chill the crust while you make the filling.

For the creamy layer:

Whipping cream powder - 1/2 cup

Fresh cream    -   1/2 cup
             Or
(You can take cake cream like fiona  - 1 cup)

Cream cheese  - 3 tbsp

Roasted Peanuts and cashews - 3 tbsp

Milkmaid      - 6 tbsp

PREPARATION

STEP 1

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or with a handheld electric mixer, beat fresh cream and whipping cream powder on medium speed until smooth and creamy.

STEP 2

Then add cream cheese and milkmaid. Turn the speed up to high and beat until the batter becomes thick and stiff.

STEP 3

Then add roasted peanuts and  fold in.

STEP 4

Spread the creamy layer over the prepared crust layer and refrigerate it.

FOR the topping:

Snickers bar       - 3 (big)

Milk chocolate bar - 1/4 cup

(chop up the chocolate into smaller pieces).

Fresh cream    -  1/4 cup

Roasted Peanuts and cashews - 3 tbsp

PREPARATION

STEP 1

Add snickers bar and chocolate bar to a medium sized heatproof bowl.

STEP 2

Take a saucepan with 1/2 inch to 1 inch of water and boil it.

STEP 3

Place the heatproof bowl on top of a saucepan. Make sure that the bowl doesn't actually touch the water.
(This method keeps the chocolate away from direct heat, which allows it to melt at a low enough temperature to prevent scorching and separating).

STEP 4

As the chocolate begins to melt, stir it occasionally to ensure even melting. 

STET 5

Add fresh cream and Stir it gently until it all comes together to a nice, smooth consistency, then it’s ready to be used.
Remove from heat.

STEP 6

Next add roasted peanuts and cashews. Mix well.

STEP 7 

Spread the topping layer over the prepared creamy layer and refrigerate it.

Chill for at least 4 hours before slicing and serving.
